Mismatched popular post count compared to Google Analytics

  • I have a popular post widget in my right column for the previous 30 days. These numbers do not match my Google Analytics numbers.

    Modified Sgarbossa Criteria: Ready for Primetime? 2,194 views
    Bicarbonate: Completely Useless? 2,055 views
    52 Articles in 52 Weeks: Landmark EM Articles 2013 915 views
    PV Cards 572 views
    Prehospital: Does QUICKER hypothermia equal BETTER hypothermia? 566 views

    These are different from Google Analytics, which state that my top 5 posts for these past 30 days are:
    /modified-sgarbossa-criteria-ready-primetime/ – 2,616 views
    /bicarbonate-completely-useless/ – 2,608 views
    /52-articles-in-52-weeks-landmark-em-articles-2013/- 2,576 views
    /pv-cards/ – 2,053 views
    /best-of/ – 1,505 views

    NOTES:
    1. I am using WP Super Cache and have enabled the Ajaxify widget.
    2. I have set Log Views as: From Everyone

  • You’re not the only one with this issue. I just realized that what’s ‘popular’ is really not with this plugin. Hopefully the author will have an update soon.
