Sidebar generated links question

You should elaborate on this:
I’ve set it up so that there is a main news section and a seperate blog for “thoughts”.
This is not the same as 2 loops…

Yes there are two loops one in the middle section for the Main News and another loop in the left column for a seperate blog.

I wanted them to be completely seperate from each other, so that the “thoughts” blog and news would come up in seperate pages and archives.

Having two loops in the home page is one thing but that does NOT mean you have “separate” blogs.

O.K. sorry. =(

Any ideas on why the links are screwy?

No, unless somebody takes a look at the code (but I am not a coder!).
However, I’d suggest to take a second look at the Multiple Loops page in the Codex.

Here is the code for sidebar.php. It is the only page that was modified.

My suggestion is still valid. If you look at the Multiple Loops examples you cannot have the same Loop twice.
You need a new query.
