Moving WP environment to a new server

How long has it been since you changed nameservers?

A few hours. I had installed a new WP environment, then overwrote everything with my old data. The domain is pointing to my new nameserver.

You need to give time for DNS Propagation. Check again in 6-12 hours. You can verify here:

And clear your browser cache and maybe even Flush DNS also.

I am still receiving the 500 Internal Server Error. I just copied the files, imported the database and updated wp-config. Is there something else I needed to do?

Can you list the domain in a link here for us to use online testing to decipher any issue? If not, consult web host. Actually do both ??

I actually re-installed my WP environment and imported the database again and it worked just fine. Thanks for your help though.
