DJ number limitation

  • Although this plug-in really made my day, it seems that the limited number of DJs (45+ in my case) is still a problem.Everytime i try to add new DJ a get an error.Any chance of somehow fixing that? would be a great help!

    ps: the error i am getting is the following, i have cleared the cache & all, so i am sure that’s not the prolem.Also when i delete a dj i can add another.

  • I believe that the issue lies in the plugin storing all the information as wp options. That means that instead of having one record in the table for each DJ, it stores all DJs as an array in just one field. And the more records you have the bigger the array gets.

    Even though the field is set as ‘longtext’ which can store up to 4GB of data, there might be some settings on the server/database/php that limit/affect the size you can actually use. I have seen posts where people reported issues with wp option fields of sizes of just 1MB and less.
