Since I upgraded to WP version 3.8 I lost all of my pictures of my posts!

In your blog > admin > settings > media, do you have a fancy directory, or it is the usual /wp-content/uploads ?

In my blog > admin > settings > media, I have the regular settings:
Images Size (optional;thumbnails, medium,large) and uploading files that has a check box for having the media organized my month and year based folders. That’s it. I don’t see any thing else.

Anybody can help me with this?

Previous message: Since I upgraded to Word Press version 3.8 all of my posts pictures are gone! Well, this happens every time I update to a newer version. My theme is Twenty Eleven.

My photos in my posts are not showing. I tried with deactivating and activating all the plugins but no luck. I upload media (pictures) in to my individual posts and it works. But after saving the changes it still doesn’t show the pictures in the post.

I am very new with this and I like it very simple. So are there specific plugins that we need?! If yes what are those? Maybe I am using a plugin that doesn’t allow me after a version update to safe my media.

Okay, I went through many times to deactivate and active plugins. I also tried with just one plugins at the time and I would check if I could reload pictures. I finally got it!!!!
It’s working now. Though I had to reload all of my media….
