404 Not Found error

    Hi there,

    I have just installed www.ads-software.com and when I tried to log-in through the admin area, I received the following error.

    Not Found

    The requested URL /wp-admin was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Is anyone able to help me resolve this?

  • Maybe, re-install your wordpress with automatic installer such as fantastico or softaculous direct from your hosting is the best coice kym..

    Khanna64: Try checking you .htaccess file for any issues there.
    If you’re not sure if there is a problem, Post the content of it here.

    If you’re using Cpanel File manager and cant see the .htaccess file. Remember to tick “Show hidden files” when going in to the file manager.

    Hi everyone,
    Apologies for not coming back to you sooner.
    Thank you all for your feedback.
    It turns out the issue was that I had changed Service Providers and hadn’t changed the Domain Name Servers.
