My widgets on my wordpress blog suddenly disappeared and were replaced by this message:

“Fatal error: Call to undefined method GG_Widget_Title_Link::get_settings() in /home4/ndcowie1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/widget-title-links/widget-title-links.php on line 96”

I think it happened after I change the permalink settings from post name to numeric and back again.

i am a real novice who cannot write code. I saw some prior post on this topic but the solutions suggested were way beyond my understanding / capabilities

Can I get novice help or hire someone to help me on this?

    Thanks

Try deactivating your ‘Widget Title Links’ plugin. The error suggests that this might be causing this issue.

If deactivating this plugin solves the issue, but you wish to continue using it, you can post at the plugin’s forum for support: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/widget-title-links

Offering to pay for support is not permitted on these forums. If you want to hire someone, please post at https://jobs.wordpress.net instead.

    Thanks for the response.

The ‘Widget Title Links’ plugin was Deactive already.

    Any other simple ideas?

I would try going back into permalinks and change it to default then save. Then change it back to whatever you want them to be and save again.

Make sure the plugin doesnt require you to have a specific permalink setup.

Other than that try deleting the plugin completely since that seems to be where the error is coming from.
