    Hi there,

Was it working properly before and if so, what changed? Did you update / installed anything in the meantime?

I have used a plugin that allows you to change a post to a page etc. I think it may be the culprit. I have since deactivated that plugin and now everything seems fine. I had not noticed the behavior prior to updating my WYSIWYG Widgets/WIdget Blocks plugin. It has not happened on subsequent updates. But it was strange to edit and save a Widget Block and watch it switch to a Post automatically.

Hi, this has become an issue for me too. I’m wondering whether it has anything to do with me adding a my own custom post type and the wysiwyg plugin becoming confused by this…

Great plugin though! Apart from this issue I’m finding it really useful, thanks.

Ah, nope, truemc was right, it’s the post-type-switcher plugin, there’s a conflict because it doesn’t recognise “widget block” as a post type in it’s select menu.

I started using custom post more heavily recently and noticed this same behavior with wysiwyg widgets losing its post type setting. However, I noticed that most custom post types use underscores instead of hyphens for coding the post type.

Is it possible that if wysiwyg widgets used an underscore instead, that we could also use plugins that would allow for post-type switching?
