Quantity field on product page not showing plus minus

Hi Guys,
The Quantity field on product page is not showing plus/minus signs when I use the woocommerce.css
I am upgrading someones site to use woocommerce instead of another shop.
The guy who handled the account before me installed a modified twothousand twelve theme.
After hours of searching and fiddling with the css, chrome inspect element and lots more. I found that the plus and minus sign re-appeared when I disable “use woommerce.css” in the admin panel.
However, then the site gets ugly!I believe that it has something to do with
.quantity .plus,
and
.quantity .minus,The site is

Finally, When I use the authentic original twentytwelve theme the plus/minus works fine even with woocmmerce.css activated.
