Final ask for help: dashboard not loading

  • This subject seems to be on the forum earlier, but no one gave an satisfying answer. My dashboard does not load at all, all of a sudden, and i even installed a fresh WP/ clean dbase/ latest version/ no plugins and only the default theme. How come? What can i do to make it work. I like the dashboard! I miss it!

  • Any displayed errors?
    Any errors in the web server error logs?
    Any part of the page at all show up?
    What url is the browser when you click to go to Dashboard? Got a screen shot?

    (Yeah, could really use more information!)

    Nothing, nothing, just waiting.
    Mac OS X.3 (and X.4),Firefox 1.5.06 for mac. But no matter what browser, the same result.

    Also when i login, nothing on the screen happens, but when i go back to the site, i’m logged in.
    I think it is the same problem.

    Can it be the version of php? What changed during the last say 3 months in the code?
    I have an version WP 1.5.4 running and that is ok.

    thats not a screenshot of your dashboard, thats a screenshot of your write post screen, your dashboard is the link that says dashboard.

    elz, you should upgrade to WP 2.0.4..

    whooami: as i said, the dashboard does not open. How can i show a screenshot of the dashboard when it never appears?

    I have WP 2.0.4: that is the version that is not running properly.

    Another one with version 1.5.4 works ok.

    I have the same problem my dashboard won’t load but other admin functions seem to work.

    My feeds have also stopped working
    I’ve treid systematically deactivating plugin with no change. I’m running 2.04
