How to subscribe to your calendar with iCal and GCalendar?

You’ll want to go to “Edit Flow” => “Calendar” in the admin. There you’ll find some UI to enable the ICS feed:

Once you’ve done so, the subscription feed for a given user is available in “Screen Options”:

I found the subscription feed, but there is an issue.

When you add a calendar by URL:
– https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsvi54zsb7dqpbn/Screenshot%202014-01-04%2019.38.14.png

you receive an error message and the subscription does not works:

Maybe I am wrong. There is a more correct way to add a calendar subscription?

Oh, it looks like Google doesn’t want to add it because you have a robots.txt file for your site that prevents Google from crawling it. Is this the case?

There is a robots.txt with this code:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Disallow: /wp-includes/

Have you any suggestion?

Can you try dropping this line?

Disallow: /wp-admin/

It doesn’t appear there is an “Allow” declarative for robots.txt, so I don’t know there’s an easy solution right now.

I’ve got the same issue. Done this and still can’t subscribe?

It lets me add it, but no events appear.

Also, will dropping that line affect SEO etc?
