    Hi Fredd,

I chose the non-slug representation since I figured the general user would be find it easier to use the name, but I can look into supporting both formats. Off the top of my head, I think it should be possible.

Fred, I’m also trying to use that plug-in in the same way with DG.
Did that definitely work for you?

I have a media category of ‘teachers’ but when I do [dg category=”Teachers”] I get an invalid option error. What syntax did you use to get all media items in that category to show?

    Thanks both.

    Hi Martin,

What error are you getting? What version of WordPress & Document Gallery are you running? I just re-checked for my own sanity and it’s still working on my server using that plugin for the test.

    Martin,

I’m using [dg category=fox localpost=false] on my pages and this works well – notwithstanding the issues I am now having with Ghostscript not working after the upgrade to 2.x.

Cheers Chris and Dan. That last short code does work.
I think it was the last bit I was missing – ‘localpost‘.

I don’t recall that appearing in the help anywhere or in anyone elses’ thread.

    Cheers. Martin.

    Glad everything worked out, Martin!

For future reference, all of the options are documented on the Installation page. Unfortunately, it is quite crowded so I’ll admit it’s quite hard to find things =/
