Advertisments on Share button

    Thanks for providing this plugin – it’s great. But Is there a way to remove all ads from the Search button popup ?

    On your site it says:
    “you have the option to automatically show/hide the Ad Display on the widget’s share menu. The advertisement is there for anyone interested to see, or you can simply hide it! It is that easy. The only thing you need to do is to create a free account.”

    I created an account and made a custom button but don’t see any option to disable advertising altogether.

    hello,

    please, sign in to your account https://www.e-mailit.com/widget/login and select ”All Buttons”, from the left sidebar.

    click on the pencil icon (Edit), to the Settings column

    when this page open: https://www.e-mailit.com/widget/control/update_button?id=…

    scroll down to the bottom of the page.
    There is a ”Show Ad Display” option.
    By default is selected ”Yes”. Click ”No” and afterwards click ”Publish now”.

    I don’t have this option.
    The last option on the bottom is: Following Channels: Customize Channels.
    Have you changed the settings menu?

    no, it didn’t changed.

    please, find it to the ”Widget Social Options” above, as:

    Promo Display

    Customize the Promo Display for your button

    Something’s not right. In “Customize the Promo Display for your button” I have only these two options: “Later” and “Create Campaign”.
    There’s no option to set it to “No” as you described above.

    When clicking on the share-it button to choose other sharing options it works ok (no ads box).

    The problem I have is when clicking on any share button (Like, Tweet).
    For example: I click on Tweet and the small tweet share window opens. But in the background it always also pops up the overlay emailit box with ads box included on the left side. The ads box is very ugly unformatted.

    How to get rid of this overlay box when clicking on Like or Tweet, etc…?

    Please send me your url to see what is wrong with the ads box appearance.
    If you want to completelly disable the popup window, you will have to check the remove option (at the left of the pink button image) in the advanced e-mailit options from your wp admin panel.

    Well you can check on your website, there happens just the same. Click on tweet button and in the background opens the share-it box.

    I followed and it’s all set as it should be.

    I believe it’s a bug which is showing on your website too.
