Error message in admin after updating to 3.8

  • Hi there! I’m admin of blogs.disneylatino.com

    Recently we upgraded to 3.8, and while it’s working fine, we do have a small, annoying problem.

    as you can see on this screenshot, we get this huge error message on your admin (sorry for WordPress being in Spanish, the company forces us to since the writers don’t speak English). We have managed to figure out that WP is trying to connect to the URL https://api.www.ads-software.com/plugins/update-check/1.1/, but it’s simply showing ‘error’ – we’re not sure whether it’s supposed to show something else, or if it’s like that for everyone.

    How can we make this problem disappear?
