  • +1… I’m looking for this capability as well. No luck at all so far, been at it for a week. Have you found anything?

I am looking for a solution on this too. It would be the ultimate “access” plugin if we can use custom taxonomies.

    Hey nessachu and imElites,

I ended up using a workaround with a couple plugins, which may or may not work for you, depending on how you use your custom taxonomies – though I’d share just in case. I use my custom categories as menu items and I downloaded the plugin Nav Menu Roles to restrict the ability to view/access those menu items based on whether a user is logged in. Meanwhile, my custom posts are accessible only to certain types of users using the Members plugin.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi suedehead,

Thank you for the great tip! Sounds like it may work for me.

In your very last line when you are referring to the “members” plugin, which plugin is that exactly?

imElites – That’s awesome! So glad to help.
    Here’s the Members plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/members/

Let me know how it all works out for you!

Oh, I should also add – I gave up on the User Access Manager plugin and just went with the combo of Members and Nav Menu Roles.

Thanks a bunch, I will try it!
