Show imported maps?

Hi.

Can this plugin be used to show maps in kml or kmz file types (google earth) made in other software and then uploaded to WordPress?

I have a client who uses an industry-specific software to produce map files which he wishes to show on the website. The files are exported from his software as kml and kmz.
