I have a static table that I want on a static page and haven’t done this before.

The theme I’m using has a contact page with a form in it and an About page with the sidebar. I think I need the sidebar to go away to provide space for the table.

Do I create a new theme or template somehow by removing the part that says to go get the sidebar? I know nothing about php. Do I then pull out the loop or something?

Or, can I mix and match themes and maybe find one without a sidebar? Or, do I just upload a regular HTML document and link to it from the WordPress blog?
