All blog pages missing content below breadcrumbs & smiley at bottom

    Good afternoon,

    Today I noticed that when clicking on any content page on my blog that everything below the breadcrumbs is missing, except the featured image. And in the bottom left corner there is a small smiley face. Any idea what caused this?

    I had installed 1 plugin (easy recipe) which I have since deactivated and removed. I also had installed stop spammers earlier in the week–but the blog had been fine after that installation. I deactivated and removed it anyway.

    I do have a backup via backup buddy, but it’s my understanding that it’s necessary to wipe out everything in order to restore, I can’t find a way to simply revert to an earlier database. So, before doing that,many suggestions would be appreciated.

    Also, any suggestions for a more comprehensive Back up plugin would be appreciated also.

    Finally figured out it was a plugin causing the issue, although it’s been installed for months with no problem, and was not recently updated.
