    Hi Mikko,

I have run through all the troubleshooting steps for my site and perused this forum, trying suggestions that seemed even remotely related to my problem and I can not get my Custom Post Types to return in my search results.

    I’ve done the following steps:
    1. Ensured no usage of query_post, WP-Query, get_posts, etc in search.php
    2. Forced ‘exclude_from_search’ => false, and ‘public’ => true for the post type
    3. Tried with “Respect exclude_from_search for custom post types” checked and unchecked.
    4. Deactivated/Reactivated plugin
    5. Searched with Relevanssi disabled (which returns the custom post types properly)
    6. Ensured that the post types are checked off and indexes built
    7. Turned off Limit Search, in case they were out of the 500 limit
    8. Tried using AND and OR (currently set to OR)
    9. Ensure the plugin is up to date (3.2 is currently the latest Free version from what I can tell)

I do have the logging on for use of the Did you mean? functionality (which I’ve also stripped from my search.php at one point as a troubleshooting step to see if there was a conflict there, to no avail)

I’m not sure what else I can try to get my custom post types to return in the search.

I’ve looked into Upgrading to Premium, but it doesn’t appear that this should be needed in order to do what I’m trying to accomplish. I’m certainly willing to purchase if if it means getting this working in a relatively quick manner.

I can provide access to, and a link to, the dev site privately.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Craig

This was fixed, problem was caused by a misbehaving custom filtering function.

    Hi Mikko

I also installed this and getting the same results. I’m not sure what else I can try to get my custom post types to return in the search. I have the free version but willing to purchase if you can help. Does this work with wordpress 3.8?

Yes, it works with WP 3.8. If you buy a Premium license, it does come with support.

    Mikko

Does the premium search by Phrase?

Sorry for the questions but can’t find a demo and the free vers not working on my wordpress setup.

    Hi Mikko

I just purchased the premium version. Im not sure after paypal payment where to go go for the download. Not giving me an option or an email with download link.

    Please advise.

Both free and premium allow for phrase searching.

As for your Premium purchase, you chose the option where I have to manually activate your account. I have activated your account now.
