First letter [dropcap] isnt shown on the main page

    Hi, dear Alex!

    I noticed that the first letters of all my posts isnt shown on the main page.

    For example:
    In the post: “Dear friends!”
    On the main page: “ear friends!”

    How can I solve it? Thank you!

  • Someone shared a solution somewhere here on the support forums which made the dropcap being included in the excerpt. Could try browsing around for it.

    The other option is to edit the post, click “Screen Options” top right, enable the checkbox for “Excerpt”. You will now have a new box appearing below the large text field where you can write any text you want as excerpt, and it won’t appear on the single page. Or you can simply copy the beginning of the article to it.
