Eliminating shadow box in Supermoon navigation bar

Changes made in css to eliminate the shadow box, including changing color to white and changing filter to 0 did not work. Theoretically, eliminating the code to even make the shadow box should work, but I hate to do that in the template css since it would be overridden with an upgrade. Am making changes through “edit css” menu under “Appearance”.
