Feature images did not migrate

  • Hello. Migrated a multi-site root site to the branch of a multi-site installation at another host.

    The feature images didn’t not migrate. Well, the code doesn’t match. I moved the images into the proper folder by ftp as they didn’t import as requested. (Did copy/paste to get the post images up, but couldn’t fix feature images.)

    Read a few topics already, but as this is from root site to a branch site, not sure they apply.

    Go into a post with a featured image, or rather one that SHOULD have a featured image. Is there anything listed in the featured image meta box?

    If the images weren’t ‘attached’ to the posts according to the media uploader, they may have lost the association on the import :/ It’s not a multisite bug persey, but a flaw in the importer.

    I believe my site was just doing that strange IP thing due to ISP which only happens when I dialogue with you. ??

    Yeah, I figured that. Hmmmf. The importer can be quite dodgey. Ah well.
