• After a botched multisite install due to improper assignment of the primary domain, and trying to execute some of the fixes listed in various forums, etc., I’ve decided to throw in the towel and try to revert to my back-up that I took prior to doing anything with the multi-site. I don’t have access to PhpMyAdmin, and I can’t access the site whatsoever, from the front or the back end. All I have is the back-up e-mailed to me by Backwpup. Any suggestions for how to do this? Can I use an FTP program?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Unfortunately (from my experience) you need either access to the dashboard, or access to PHPMyAdmin.

I may have an idea, but why can’t you access the site whatsoever?

You can use ftp for files but not database. If your host doesn’t offer either a restore option or some kind of db management tool like phpMyadmin, I’d consider finding another host. Being able to access the database is essential.
