Social Network Posting for Imported Posts

    Hi.

    Firstly I would like to thank everyone involved for this wonderful plugin, which has helped so many people for so many reasons.

    Now, the issue is.

    I was wondering is there a way for posts that are published by using Tools->Import-> WordPress Importer to be posted to Social Networks like the regular posts.

    For many reasons, what I do is , posts are published on localhost i then export that and import on server.

    In the process, posts aren’t published on Social Networks.

    Any way to get this done?

    Another doubt is, when post is updated, is there any update post on Social Networks.? if not, is that possible..

    Publicize is only triggered for newly published posts, so I’m afraid you won’t be able to use it in your particular case. You can’t customize that behaviour, so I’m afraid you’ll need to deactivate Jetpack’s Publicize module and look for another auto-posting plugin.

    In that case, At-least can i publicize posts in bulk???

    I’m afraid that won’t be possible. Publicize can only work with newly published posts, it can’t be triggered later on for posts that are already published.
