Connecting facebook share post 'like' count to the hupso facebook like button

I’ve been using hupso share counters on my wordpress blog, and my posts on wordpress blog are also shared by using https://website.com/post-name on my facebook page as well. Users are liking the post and hit the fb like button and the counter increases however, the fblike on the post on facebook is still zero, no connection by default i believe. What can be done to make them connect to each other so either fb like is clicked will increment the other one as well. Kindly advice.
