avoid or remove images in blog posts

To remove the gray cam image you need to edit content.php / content-featured.php and remove this line:

<img src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/img/thumb-medium.png" alt="<?php the_title(); ?>" />

Did you edit content-featured.php? If you use an older version of the theme, it would be in /inc/featured.php on two places.

Thank you so much — I think that means I’ve now found a total of five places, where that line of code comes into play.
