Layout changes on View Site or Publish

Love this theme but I am having issues checking the layout.

I’m using a localhost set-up to check everything before going live and find that if I view a post in ‘View Post’ or ‘View’ in the ‘All Posts’ list, I see all aligned from the very left of the blog box area:
Heading
Date/Author
Image (left aligned) and text wrapped from the top of the picture.

If I view the post in ‘Visit Site’ from the top menu bar, I see a separate column/widget area on the left with the date/author info which is blank underneath and the post text is compressed into a middle column. It’s similar to your screenshot in the theme chooser (excluding your image).

I tried the whole site lice and I get the same thing, so it’s not my localhost set-up.

Can you help please? I’d rather have the layout I see in ‘View Post’.
