Automatically remove $ and , from calculation

  • I have a field where a customer can enter their budget. If they use anything other than numbers, it shows up as #REF in the calculation. The problem is that most of them enter the amount with a dollar sign and a comma. Is there a way to automatically remove $ and , from the formula so the calculation knows to only use the numbers?
