WordPress File Upload Plubin fails

  • WordPress does not limit file uploads itself but uses the limits set by the server’s configuration. Have you spoken to your hosts about this?

    PS – the error message in debug is not terribly informative either:

    Upload failed! Unknown error.
    Failed upload path: caledoo3_wrd1-backup2.sql
    fileupload:0

    I probably wasn’t clear enough here – sorry – it’s the WordPress File Upload plugin (that allows for inline uploads by subscribers).

    I’m the host provider ??

    I’m sorry but that appears to be a non-WPORG plugin so you will need to contact the plugin’s developer directly. We only support plugins downloaded from www.ads-software.com here.

    okay – thanks! Somehow I thought I found a link to this forum with that plugin, but probably misunderstood!
