You can reduce the eight of the widget in the widget setting itself:

Right now, I suspect you have it set to 110px; try reducing it to, say, 80px, and then maybe add a Title to the following Text widget (the one with the Twitter and Pinterest buttons). Let me know what you think.

Thanks. Yeah I tried that, dropped it all the way to 0px but didn’t seem to make any difference…also don’t really want a title on the the widgets below

Hmm. Could you try again with 80px so I can see what it looks like? We can then try to make adjustments via CSS.

just realised that it’s not saving and defaulting back to 110px for some reason..?

I just realized that this is because the minimum height allowed is 100px:

You *could* edit that file to something else, but then when Jetpack is updated, your changes will be overwritten. Let’s try to find a CSS solution, then. Can you set the widget height to 100, and then we’ll play with the CSS a bit?

OK thanks. Set at 100px. Actually moved it to the top but could do with losing the white space above “Subscribe to Blog via Email”
