• I have a pre-made template for which I’m just doing tweaks….and I want to know if there’s a way I can change the hover background of the sub menu to highlight in a totally different color (ie red with white text, while the rest of it is white background with black text).

I’m sure there’s something that can be done in the style.css or similar.

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?
Do you know how to use CSS?

    BlueDiamond 1.06 from Theme Forest/Envato.

I am not really up on CSS, I’m finding things out as I go – my webdev is away for the next 3 weeks so I’m hoping to make these changes now, it’s only gone live this week.

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.

All I can suggest is that you try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser. And perhaps start learning about CSS:

Fair enough – my webdev has the purchase code so I can’t contact the developer of the theme for at least a month. I know it can be done – just don’t know how !
