Pro will allow you to use Google Analytics. Choosing unique pageviews will result exactly in what you ask.

I already use analytics for it and it’s a complicated process for a multiauthor site. Since the update to analytics, none of the old plugins that were able to count uniques do anymore.

My hope it to find a plugin that can show my authors their unique pageviews right on their profile or dashboard so they know how they’re doing.

What problems would Analytics arise?

I fear you will find little availability of sophisticated visits tracking system as Analytics, it is such a huge task that, given Analytics presence, few developers would undertake.

The problems are it takes over a dozen steps just to get it to show pageviews, pageviews per author, and unique pageviews by author. Since I have over 1000 authors I can’t just screenshot everyone’s stats for them and I’m not giving them access to my account.

There used to be several plugins that would show multi authors what their pageviews in were (and but none of them work now since google updated to custom variables).

They all show total views but not unique views and definitely not unique views per author. I am trying to save myself hours and hours of screenshotting over 1000 different accounts is all.

Of course the plugin is autonomous and doesn’t require you to take screenshots. It only needs to be auhtorized, and then it can pull data for you, and unique pageviews are supported.

In som days Pro will be out and you will be able to check yourself if it suits your needs ??
