site load taking around 2s per visit

Hi–
My site has a very high latency for the initial request (~1.5s) and according to a plugin profiler I tried, most of the time is spent in “all in one calendar”. Is there some way to diagnose this further?
Additionally, when I deactivated the plugin, my site disappeared. <head> contents are present, but <body> is always empty on all pages.
