Import of >100MB xml file fails

Try cutting the .xml file down into smaller chunks using something like https://www.rangerpretzel.com/content/view/20/1/

Thanks for the link to the splitter. Now I have another problem. Authors are created once. But if an author already exists I have to assign the post to the author manually. Posts are not automatically assigned to an existing author. I can’t do this for 6000 posts .. :/

Yes but most are imported with the first part of the xml file and then they are existings authors.
