Can't get to Admin Panel

    I was having issues with Godaddy originally and they said my reason was that I was not on Linux. So my boss had to get a new domain anyway, so we made that Linux and now I just have to either transfer everything over or build it up again (I don’t mind, I just would rather not)

    So I installed wordpress, uploaded all the original files using Filezilla, and the Godaddy tech told me it takes a few min to half hour for it to actually be installed and working. Its been about four hours and it keeps saying connection timed out whenever I try to get to the Admin Panel.
    I’m losing my patience with this, since Godaddy keeps changing things around on me as well.

  • Your problem is choosing just one press install functionality available in each hosting, wordpress I found very easy to use but very difficult to change the domain, you should create a blog, the fixed domain, I struggled with this when domain changed last time.

    It can take up to 72 hours for a new domain name to be fully propagated & ready to use.

    I got a hold of support and it turns out it was set to the wrong IP…. after that it only took 15 min. Its all fixed now ??
    Support said 48 but I do believe 72 ??
