How to have a small photo/logo AND Text in Header?

Easiest solution is to pick a different theme that allows you to have a page-wide header. Change-O, Prest-O!

If you download the theme from here it includes an additional full-width header image option. But no text on top of it, so you would place the text directly on the image or add it with CSS.

NO FREAKING WAY am I going to change themes. This theme is great and I already worked my way thru most of my issues.

I think I found a work-around regarding putting a small logo-photo AND my site name on my header. I placed the logo-picture just fine using the theme option.

Then, I noticed that the site tag was displaying. So … I turned the site tag into the site name. The bad news is that the site tag is in a very small font size. I have used Firebug to locate the css code and change that font to a bold and larger and the padding to center it up better to the logo-photo. (Haven’t made it permanent yet because I wanted to see if Alex had any reason this would NOT be a good option. I’m thnking it looks great.

Now I’ve just got to find the file where the css code lines I need to chance is located so I can make this Firebug option permanent !!

Making progress here. Still having problems with photos and captions but that’s another subject.
