What is this licensed under? Can I use it in a theme?

    The plugin is licensed under GPL, but I wouldn’t recommend to include it within your themes, as it won’t be updated to newest releases. I’d suggest you to use TGM plugin activation instead. That way the plugin will be automatically installed from the WP repository by your theme.
