Captions and tags

When using the Nextgen plugin (1.9.13) , I searched and found a solution to display captions when using tags. The implementation can be found on: https://howden.net.au/thowden/2012/12/nextgen-gallery-wordpress-nggtags-template-caption-option/
It would be nice to have these in an update so everyone can benefit from this option.
