An important bug for me

so far, it would be the best one. But still has a few annoying problems.
1. whatever the length is, every excerpt will end by a “read more”. for example, I set the length is 500, the long article works fine, but short article even having only one sentence will still come with a “read more” ending. it is not correct.
2. if I post only one image in my post, the excerpt is never showing the image, but comes with a “read more” text….

how to fix that ?????
