Meteor Slideshow Conflict with Jetpack?

    Meteor Slides is a great plugin (congratulations) and I am using it on my site (www.nregaconsortium.in) for some time.

    I recently encountered a problem when I installed jetpack. I notice that activating jetpack enlarges the images in the meteor slideshow on the landing (home) page.

    I first thought it had something to with the image gallery and carousel within jetpack. But even after disabling these two components, the problem continued.

    I had to deactivate jetpack completely to get back to my original meteor slide show.

    What could be the problem?

    Thank you! Meteor Slides and Jetpack should work well together, I use them both on my own website.

    Which components of Jetpack do you have active?

    I am new to jetpack so I was mainly interested in using the image gallery (with its layout options) and the carousel.

    However, as I wrote earlier, deactivating these two does not make a difference though. I have to deactivate jetpack altogether to restore meteor slides to normal

    What do you suggest I should do?

    Just to add: I use Weaver II Pro as my theme in case that is important.

    I also use the following plugins:
    simple tooltips, Better WP Security, responsive lightbox, dropshadowboxes, fs contact form, backwpup, postTabs, Leaflets Maps Marker and a few more. However, none of these has had any problems with meteor.

    I tested Meteor Slides with Jetpack and Weaver II and I wasn’t able to replicate this issue, it worked fine for me.

    If you could activate Jetpack on the site, I can take a look and see if there is a styling or JavaScript conflict going on.

    Josh, thanks for all the hard work and your responses.

    After hearing from you I reactivated jetpack and this time there was no conflict with meteor slides.

    Wonder why it happened in the first place.

    In the meantime I decided that I did not really need jetpack after all. So I have disabled it.

    We could treat the issue as closed as far as I am concerned.
