Compatibility issue with WPML?

  • I’m using both Slideshow and WPML plugins and I can’t create translated version of my slideshow (both versions should use the same images and links but different text depending on the chosen language). My default language is English and the other one I’m using is Croatian. When I go to my slideshows list I have only one slider there and I click on the pencil icon saying edit the HR (Croatian) translation.

    All the content is now set but it seems that each language version of my slider has its own ID and it is a separated slideshow, not connected with each other in any way. Am I missing something? Are those two plugins officially compatible with each other at all?

    Also, I checked the “Make ‘Slideshows’ translatable” and enabled the translating of slides in the Slideshow Multilingual Content Setup, it didn’t help.
