Page Blank after Adding to Cart

Hi wcs2, can you read through the following tutorial just to make sure that the settings are correct.

Do you have any cache plugin installed?

Yes, I did everything in that tutorial. There is one difference, though: the shortcode button at the top of the tutorial has a slightly different format, while what I use is what is on the plugin settings itself “[wp_cart_button name=”Test Product” price=”29.95″]” Which should be used?

It’s only accessible through a direct link, as I have not yet turned this on since it doesn’t work yet.

There are no caching plugins installed. I have also tried this with all plugins deactivated and still had the issue. Plugins are: Akismet, Auto ThickBox Plus, Comprehensive Google Map Plugin, Contact From 7, EWWW Image Optimizer, Google XML Sitemaps, jQuery Updater, WordPress Importer and this shopping cart. Pretty straightforward stuff.

Hi have you added the following shortcode any where in your website?

The above shortcode is needed or else the shopping cart will not be displayed.

Yes, on the page linked to above it is right after the “3”. It appears when you add something to the cart, use the back button when the page goes blank, then refresh the page.

What have you entered in the following?

1) Automatic Redirection To Check Out Page.

2) Return URL

1) Unchecked & Blank (customers must choose more than one product, so I don’t want to send them away from the page until they’re ready to check out).

Are you running the website locally?

No, it’s not being run locally. It is on a physical server at a data center, but it it’s not a local box to me.

What are you running that generates that? I don’t see it.

It is very hard to see because of the background colour. All I did was simply click on the link above and it generates that error. Click on the link yourself and look very closely to the very top of the page and you will see the error code displayed.

OK, I see it when I’m not logged in. What function is in line 79 of wp_shopping_cart.php?

Hi read through this URL to see if there are other conflicts apart from the error that is currently showing.

It’s the theme. I switched to the default and the page immediately worked as it should, so it must be screwy (even though the developer said it wasn’t a coding issue on his end).
