    Hi, I have a doubt in editing the homepage. I removed a picture from my home page and I dont know how to replace another picture in that place. Now my website’s homepage is incomplete without that picture. Can you help me how to fill that place with a picture. You can visit my website to be more clear. https://www.uckg.in (right side in the homepage, Title Youth Power Group)

    the image does not seem to exist in the linked location: https://www.uckg.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/YPG_01.jpg

    double-check your media library for the correct image url.

    Yes, I deleted that picture from the media library and it is no longer available there. But I want to fill that place with another picture. Please give me the step by step instruction. Thanks.

    goto dashboard – Media – add new; select an image from your computer to upload;

    once you have uploaded an image, goto Media -Library, click the ‘edit‘ below the image thumbnail, and copy the ‘File URL‘ from the grey box on teh right.

    use that URL in the textwidget to replace the one of the deleted image.

    Thank you so much for the information but I don’t know how to go to the text widget bcos in the dashboard many options like appearance, menu, themes, etc are not visible. And I don’t know which theme is used in the website. Unfortunately I couldn’t get those details from the person who was a doing these before. Thanks.

    Help?

    I have an image (a company logo with which my company is affiliated) which is embedded in the footer of my home page. I am not a coder but I’m pretty sure I found the image location in the code. I need to change the existing png file. Only I cannot find where/how to upload and update the code in the editor with the new file? I cannot find the existing image file in my media library. If I could this would probably be much easier. I had a code guy put this in hence the reason Hence I don’t know what to do here. Help please?

    It is on Appearance, then Editor menu. You then look for the footer.php file where you can edit the image path.

    I am in there but I don’t know where the source of the existing file is, so how do I replace it?

    * Footer */
    footer[role=”contentinfo”] {

    clear: both;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-size: 0.857142857rem;
    line-height: 2;
    max-width: 960px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    padding: 20px; background:url(images/kosher.png) no-repeat center; position:relative;

    This is what I see. the file kosher.png seems to be the target to change. How do I change, it?

    P.S. thank you for the help

    This was not intended as a “highjack”. There was a question regarding coding on a homepage. Others have responded without poking at me.

    I am very new to the support forums, so please forgive me if I erred.
