removing the reply box

removing the reply box=> ‘edit page’ page, you should have the options to stop comments, below the page editor, a box ‘discussion’

if that is not there, click the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right of that page, and tick the appropriate tick box.

then checked out the (Allow comments.
Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page. )

empty space in footer => where you and to empty space in page or post page

hey mate

i did as you suggested, i could not find the trackback box to uncheck

the comments box is still coming up on the pages ive created…any other thoughts

I am having the same problem!!!

1st you need to tick comments and decision box . Then you check out bottom of the page 2 box appear ( screen shot 2)

Just un check those box and update page

There are no boxes on the bottom of the page! No options to uncheck!!
