Deleting 'Comments off' in Clear Line theme

Hi there. I’ve been trying to delete ‘Comments off’ that appears next to the title of every post in Clear Line theme. I saw advices to delete certain lines in comments.php or index.php, but it seems there are no such lines in these files. I’m a novice in wordpress and the website is not running yet. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
