will not auto detect mobile device

My mobile devices dont seem to be auto detected. I need to type the mobile site in directly eg. https://mobile.examplesite.com… I have created the blank pages for index on contact, but these are located at
https://examplesite.com/contact
https://examplesite.com/index
And not
https://mobile.examplesite.com/contact
https://mobile.examplesite.com/indexCan anyone help me with this please?
