    Hello RiegelP,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

You have not completed the theme setup yet. You will have to create a static front page and select the “Homepage” template for your front page. Then you can place the widgets on your front page. Please read and follow the theme documentation.

I have followed it but I have this now. I want the slider page and posts on the same page.

    Hello RiegelP,

yes – you have created a static front page. But now you will have to place the widgets in the widget locations “Home 1”, “Home 2”, ….

Again, please read the documentation. You can find more in there than just creating a static front page… ??

    Regards

Please visit my website again. I took out the static front page. I want the slider under “EARPATROL” on the top. I want people to visit my site i want them to see it to just like this plus the slider under the EarPatrol. Thank you. Will I be having this problem if i purchase the theme?

Please have a look at the theme demo of MH Magazine lite. That’s how the front page is supposed to look like.

It is not possible to use the widgetized front page and archives at the same time. But the premium version of the theme has much more sophisticated widgets included and you can make it look like that somehow, here is an example. But there won’t be a navigation like on archives. The navigation below the articles which you can see on this page was added by the user, I guess he is using a plugin somehow, but it’s not part of the theme.

You can view more examples of user sites in the showcase.

    Regards
    Michael

Is there a way I could have a static front page without loosing the page i already created?

Please have a look at my previous answer.

Ok, I kind of understand it now. How would I put my old post in my static page?

How would I put my old post in my static page?

I’m not sure if I understand this question. As mentioned before, the homepage template is fully widgetized. You will just have to place the widgets there, example “MH Custom Posts lite. That widget will display your posts based on the category which you have selected.
