Restricted users can access the plugin settings

  • A user with the author role who cannot access any other WordPress settings can still access the settings for this plugin.

    He can NOT edit these settings, so there’s apparently no security risk but I would find it better if the user couldn’t even access the settings. Especially considering that the type of user who is usually restricted is probably someone who doesn’t want see anything but his posting options.

    Serious tips for using it… After activation, when you use it… Save it a few times without modifying everything. This helps it “find” different admin sections…

    Next… ONLY USE IT WHERE NEEDED!!! Do NOT start clicking all over the place, turning on options you don’t need.
