The color options are in the Theme Customizer, accessed via Appearance -> Customize. In the customizer, the “Colors” section contains two additional options that this plugin adds: Accent Color and Contrast Color.

After installing the fourteen-color plugin and activating it, in my colour setup I still only have the 2 original options:
    Site Title Color
    Background Color

    Don’t have any other options
No point to provide a link to my current site, it is NOT using WordPress, I am trying to lean WP and start using it…

    Help please

Make sure your currently active theme is Twenty Fourteen or a child of it – it won’t show up when you’re live-previewing it. Once that’s active, the plugin’s active, and you re-open the Theme Customizer you should have the following options:
    – Accent Color
    – Contrast Color
    – Background color

If that isn’t the case still, you could try re-installing the plugin, as it’s likely missing something.

    Hi Nick,

All sorted out, thanks for your feedback

    still not working ;-(

Likewise. Reinstalled the Fourteencolors plugin, but only the admin can see the changes. The Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera browsers still display the original color setup. Any suggestions?

    Additional troubleshooting steps:
    * Make sure you save your changes in the Theme Customizer. The custom color will display as a preview as soon as you change it, but it isn’t published until you save your changes. This goes for all settings in the preview.
    * Make sure Twenty Fourteen is the active theme when trying to change the colors – it currently may not work when live-previewing themes.
    * If it isn’t working with your child theme, try activating Twenty Fourteen then visiting the theme customizer and customizing the colors. If that works, your “child theme” isn’t correctly identifying twentyfourteen as the parent theme.

For additional assistance, please open a new thread for your specific issue with a link to your site. In most cases you are very likely to just be missing something in the setup or usage process, rather than there being an issue with the plugin itself.
