benevolence theme not working

  • Okay I know this is like the most popular theme ever and apparently I’m the only one who can’t figure out how to make it work. I installed it just like every other theme, but all I get is a weird white partially loaded page. Any ideas?

    edit: downloaded a different version of the theme and now it’s working. weird. thanks anyway!

    Tested IE, FF.

    Perhaps its the big image masthead.jpeg which takes the theme a little time to load?

    okay, well, now I have a new problem.. How do I get the title bar to go away? For that matter, how do I edit anything?? I can generally figure out how to fix things if I have the CSS, but I can’t find the code on any of the files.. When I View Source on my page, I see what I need to change, but I can’t find the page that contains that source. Can someone tell me how to find it?
